With the consistent rise in new cases across the country there is a need for collaborative action among the Non-Government Organization and the Government department in fighting against the COVID-19. The first priority of READS in mitigating the virus is to support the government department (Health sector) in increasing the momentum of vaccination drive that have been going on throughout the districts. To furtherance its support to the government’s effort, RPCNEI have arrived to signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the District Health Society of Churachandpur and  Pherzawl District. Developing of join action plan for Mass Vaccination is the first offshoot of the MoU.  Under the purview of the MoU various un detaching is anticipated, like second phase of vaccination drive, psychosocial intervention, vaccination advocacy etc.
